Another Crack At It!

Graffiti Go-Round

One More Time

This posting will constitute my second attempt at utilizing Telligents new blogging software entitled "Graffiti CMS" ( graffiticms.com ).  My first attempt took place around the beginning of February, 2008.  Back then, I installed the software into a share on my Microsoft Windows Home Server ( microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/windowshomeserver/default.mspx ).  I then employed Andrew Grants "Whiist" web creation utility ( andrewgrant.org/2008/03/19/windows-home-server-saves-whiist.html ) to actually create and deploy the site.  This effort dissolved into total failure once the infamous Windows Home Server data bug reared its ugly head.  The upshot was that after repeated communication with Telligent and the Windows Home Server Team, I uninstalled the application.

So now for Resurrection!  Microsoft has informed the world that it has now crushed the data bug for all intents and purposes.  Arriving on top of that announcement, is the beta version of the saving software which I have just installed.  I also downloaded the most recent free version of Graffiti (v 1.1) and installed it as well.  I will now run this software on my server for awhile to see if it works as advertised...or not!

Hopefully, everything will work as expected and if so, I'll install the commercial version in place of the free version.

Here we go!
